"Big Bang" particle collider to be up and running

Scientists at the European Organization for Nuclear Research are planning to wake up their “Big Bang” particle collider and run it for two years.

Cell phones and laptops seem to have become the defining tools of our society. Walking across campus is like swimming in a sea of technology! It’s the rare person who isn’t talking, texting, surfing, or at least listening to an iPod. But for all their entertainment value, there can be a dark side, too.
